A few of my favorite pics!

Wikis

If---or rather when---you use a Wiki in the classroom for the first time, keep it simple!!! The 1st project I did with a class using a Wiki took several days longer than planned because it took time for the students to get used to it. Things ran much more smoothly the next time around because the students were familiar with the technology.

Podcasting

I've come to the realization that even though I know how to utilize Podcasts in the classroom, I don't know where find what I need unless I use iTunes. there must be so many sources, but I need to find them.
One great use of Podcasts is for the foreign language classroom. Being able to listen to news clips and other short segments is a great language immersion tool!

eZines

Until reading about them in the textbook last week, I had never heard of eZines. After a couple of quick Google searches, I didn't find anything terribly useful. The links I tried were mostly advertisements and advice on how to publish your articles and get lots of $$$ for them.
Does anyone know of some reliable eZines for educators?
